We are seeking an experienced and capable Housekeeper to join a busy and welcoming family based in a large townhouse in central Harrogate.
This is a primarily housekeeping-focused role, with a small element of childcare support for two school-aged boys (7 and 11). The position would suit someone organised, proactive and confident managing a home to a high standard, while also being comfortable supporting a family environment.
The role includes morning routines, preparing the children for school and taking them, followed by a focus on maintaining the home throughout the day. The working day finishes after school collection.
You will be supported by a part-time cleaner (two days per week), allowing you to focus on higher-level housekeeping and organisation.
Key Responsibilities

Full housekeeping and day-to-day organisation of the home

Laundry, wardrobe management and general upkeep

Supporting morning routines and school drop-off/pick-up

Maintaining a well-run and organised household environment
Requirements

Previous experience within a private household

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Full UK driving licence

Willingness to undergo a DBS check

Comfortable around small dogs
